For the ones who have noticed Austin Ekeler’s potential in 2019, have quickly forgotten how good he actually is due to injury last season. Austin was breaking tackles, spin moving and hurdling his way into a multi-year contract for the Chargers. That was while Melvin Gordon sat out and Charger fans did not have hope at the running back position. He had 8 receiving touchdowns out of the backfield in 2019. Under Joe Lombardi(former Saints OC), Austin Ekeler could look a lot similar to Alvin Kamara with the Saints. Which is how Joe plans to use Austin. He helped win a lot of fantasy leagues in 2019 and I am confident he will now. Last year, I had James Robinson (UDFA RB Jaguars) as my sleeper running back and we all know how that went. This year I have more confidence then ever that you need this guy Austin Ekeler on your team! You will most likely find him in the mid rounds of the draft. Imagine having a RB2 or FLEX putting up at least +20 a game? Please please please do not pass on this one.
